Jane has received competitive research funding from a range of sources including the Health Research Board of Ireland (equivalent NHMRC Australia), and the Irish Research Council. She has been awarded various development funds for programmes and services in mental health and early childhood all of which have included a sepcialist research and evaluation dimension.
The European Research Council, the ANZ Trustees, and other university competitive grant funds have contributed to an impressive portfolio of total funding income of ~$800k. Additionally her successful project leadership of two bids for funded places in Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Limerick resulted in a one off 4m euro capital contribution along with 1m euro per annum for 9 years.
